A book your family will still be opening
in fifty years.
The people you came from, found in the records and written as a story — every fact sourced, every gap named, and read by you before anything is final.
Every book begins with a conversation, and is made one book at a time. "Not sure" is a fine answer.
One book, made for your family
A single edition, researched in the records and written as a story — sourced, and read by you before it is final.

Family Book
A complete family history, researched in the records and written to be read by the generations after you. Each printed book comes with a matching box.
Two to three hundred pages, depending on the records available. Your family’s story in chapters; every statement with a numbered note indicating the source; photograph and map plates where the content can be located; a family timeline throughout; indexes of all people and places we could locate for your family.
Research follows each line as far as the records go — parish registers, censuses, passenger lists, land patents, wills, newspapers — sometimes into the 1600s. Old languages and handwriting are read and translated; where a word will not yield, the notes say so.
Near the back is a Traveler’s Companion — Visiting the Family’s Places — walkable notes for churches, crofts, cemeteries, hills and streets the story names. Each entry says what can be visited with confidence and what is only the parish or neighborhood; check hours before you go. In one family book that means the cathedral in Uppsala, a croft outside Mora, the walls of Lucca, St. Stanislaus Kostka in Chicago, and a sand hill outside Pittsburgh — particular places, not a tour.
You read and review a draft before anything is final. The book comes as a finished PDF, and in print — each printed book with its own matching box — if you wish.
